Journalists working in war zones face great challenges and risk their lives everyday. Such is the case of Ukrainian photographer Maksim Levin who lost his life while covering war in Ukraine.

However, despite their challenging job, a group of journalists had the rewarding experience of saving a precious life!
They were filming video footage of the ruins of a Ukrainian village when an adorable calico cat suddenly emerged from under the rubble and started running towards them begging for help.

The journalists immediately scooped the frightened kitty and contacted Zoopatrul Rescue to get help for her right away!
Her rescuers named her Lika and it is believed that the place she was found could have been the ruins of her home but it is unclear whether her family could have survived the airstrike.

After all she went through, Lika is understandably stressed out but otherwise in good health and unharmed.
