November 2, 2023Sweet Bruno helped his family cope with the loss of their baby
After their five-day-old baby daughter Freyja passed away Caroline and her husband found a box of four abandoned kittens and took them in. Bruno was one of them!
While learning to live with their grief, they had a lot of love to give, and the kittens gave them something to focus on and care for.
“Looking back now, they were just what we needed to help us cope. Caring for them took the edge off the pain and brought a ray of light into some very hard days.” Caroline said

Bruno was the one that really struggled with confidence and was very afraid. They had to do lots of work to socialise him before we could rehome him and as a result they got very close to him.
Bruno helped them cope with grief and saw them through a very difficult period of their lives… “When the time came, we knew we couldn’t be parted with him, so we kept him.” his new parents said.
