Bottle-Feeding & Care of Orphaned Kittens
Learn the skills needed to successfully bottle-feed and care for orphaned kittens. Find out how to navigate all the stages of kitten care. Get answers to all your questions, including: What equipment and formula get the best results? What are the most effective bottle-feeding techniques?
Taming Feral Kittens for Adoption
Using film footage of successful techniques, combined with insights into the biological development of kittens, we will provide attendees with information on how to tame and socialize feral kittens quickly and efficiently so they can be adopted into indoor homes.
Enhancing Neighborhood Relations Surrounding Community Cats
Are you a feral cat caretaker whose neighbors may not understand, appreciate, or welcome community cats and your efforts to protect them? Then this workshop is for you! We will provide you with the tools you need to improve neighborhood relations, including tips for good communication with your neighbors and how to educate them about the needs of community cats and the benefits of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Advice for turning around already hostile situations will also be part of the presentation.
Cruelty and Cats
Attend this valuable workshop to learn what constitutes animal cruelty in New York City and how it applies to community cats and caretakers. Educate yourself to be an informed advocate to educate others on the proper ways to address and report animal cruelty. Learn ways to proactively interact with your local police precinct and community board to establish good relations for the community cats before a problem arises.
