Clutching their precious cargo, animal lovers in Ukraine rush to protect their beloved pets, ferrying them to safe-haven countries across the border.
People coming from Ukraine with pets can get free veterinary help for them at the Shelter in Paluch, Warsaw.
Emergency medical care, chipboarding and free food are offered to all the refugees and their pets.
The capital city hall announced that for this purpose a 24-hour hotline was set up.

The Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, also decided that persons with Ukrainian ID’s can travel by Warsaw public transport for FREE.
