Tiffany, holds ‘the oldest cat living’ record at age 27.

Tiffany is the short-haired black and orange tortoiseshell that became the new holder of ‘the oldest cat living’ record at the age of 27!

Born in San Diego, California, Tiffany Two was bought from a local pet shop when the record-breaking kitty was six weeks old.

Her mom paid $10 for her and commonly refers to Tiffany Two as the “best money ever spent”.

Sharon settled on the name Tiffany (Two) as a tribute to another tortoiseshell cat she once owned in the ’70s.

Despite her incredible age, she still has good sight and hearing. Besides very small ailments such as high blood pressure from time to time, her mom describes her as “not feeble and still able to go up and downstairs”.

She eats a varied diet with both wet food and dry food and resides indoors but frequently also goes outdoors when she fancies.

Tiffany’s family got in touch with Guinness World Records after they spotted the record for oldest living cat was then held by Poppy.

While Tiffany Two’s longevity is incredible, she still has some way to go to beat the oldest cat ever record, set by a feline from Austin, Texas called Creme Puff who was born in August 1967 and lived until August 2005 – an amazing 38 years!
