Maksim Levin, a photographer and videographer who was working in Kyiv for a Ukrainian news website and Reuters, lost his life while covering the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The 40-year-old Ukrainian photographer was also a true cat lover.

A photo of Maksim out in the snow-covered battlefield, carrying a homeless cat he had rescued made the news and went viral.
Maksim was found lifeless, unarmed and wearing a press jacket somewhere outside Kyiv.
