Fluffy, an adorably resilient cat, survived a brush with the winter polar vortex after her owners found her covered in chunks of ice and snow.
Vets immediately began to warm her up by applying warm water, heating pads, and hot towels; within an hour she started grumbling at them.

Fluffy is normally an indoor-outdoor cat who knows her way back home but after warming her up, the vets discovered an injury which they believe was most likely the reason why she ended up immobilized outside in the snow.
“Fluffy was used to living outside but really it’s mostly that the owners noticed she was missing and could find her quickly …” “They rushed her in for us to start caring for her and that’s what saved her.” the vets said.
