Kefir, the gentle giant of Russia

It doesn’t take much for cats to win people’s hearts and go viral on the internet and Kefir is certainly no exception.

It didn’t take him long for to stand out amongst other famous cats because of his enormous size.

When his mom started to share pictures of Kefir on the Internet, some people just could not believe their eyes and suggested he was photographed with some sort of special lenses that made him look bigger than he really is…

“It’s funny how people react when they see Kefir! Many people think that he is a dog at first.” his mom says

Gorgeous Kefir is almost 2 years old now and he’s expected to grow even more since Maine Coons keep growing until the age of 3.

Since he was a kitten, Kefir refused to eat regular dry food and “demanded” to be fed meat instead.

Regarding his personality, his family say Kefir is a super-smart and quite unusual cat, he doesn’t meow, nor scratch the furniture.

He sure sounds like a purrrfect cat!

“Kefir is a gentle small kitten in the body of a beast” his mom says.
