Cats have been known to wield an almost hypnotic power, controlling human behavior with a flick of the tail or the merest meow.

In just the last few weeks, the freaky furballs have taken over supermarkets and subway stations, and even harnessed technology to acquire the power of speech (to tell us off, no doubt, once we’ve cleaned their litter boxes and wound their mechanical mice).
Similarly, “What Cats Want” is a cute concept with plenty of legs—four, at least—that speaks to some folks’ intense, confounding connection with those hirsute hellions, known for keeping their owners on a very short leash.
