Whisper was about 10 years old when she was taken to an animal shelter in Colorado. She was part of a group of cats that were rescued from a hoarding situation.
Whisper had been terribly neglected; she had not been spayed and all of her teeth were infected. Due to the extent of her tooth decay, she ended up losing all of her teeth.
She was taken to a vet clinic to have her spayed and her few teeth left removed.
The vet could not help falling in love with her and decided to keep her.

Whisper now lives at the vet clinic full time where she’s made a lot of friends!
Who wouldn’t want to be greeted by this sweet face?
As soon as she hears the doorbell ring when the door opens, she runs up front to meet new patients.
She is fearless when it comes to dogs, cats, tortoises and anyone that walks through the clinic doors.
She’s become the hero and mascot of the clinic and is loved by staff and patients alike
Whisper has her own room with climbing shelves, scratching posts, a bed and her food bowls.
When she’s not “on duty”, she enjoys playing on the shelves in her room, playing soccer with her toys and napping on “her” front desk.
One of her favorite games is hiding in any open drawer or cupboard and then bursting out to startle someone!
Whisper is now a happy, healthy and playful cat who found her furever home late in life and she so deserves it.
