March 25, 2016Bandit was snatched by a coyote
A coyote snatched Lauren’s cat in the middle of the night. She looked up and saw her cat in the mouth of the wild animal.
Without hesitation, Lauren scaled a fence with a 10-foot drop when emotions were still raw and started chasing the coyote down.
On a pitch-black night, she followed the coyote into the backcountry where she knew she would have to take on a whole pack of predators.
However, despite her fears, she kept on chasing the coyote trying to save her beloved Bandit. She said she felt was guided by God: “I was just like, ‘Please Lord let me go where he went.'”

Her prayer was answered. Somehow, she caught up to the sprinting coyote and scared the animal into dropping Bandit near a gully.
“I couldn’t believe my Bandit was still alive,” she said.
Lauren rushed Bandit to the vet hospital where he was diagnosed with head trauma and a broken jaw.
X-rays show multiple breaks that need to be repaired by surgery.

Lauren said: “The bill is a lot but I have faith and after all It’s just money! The important thing now is that Bandit is OK. It was one of those “What would you do?” moments but if Bandit were your cat, wouldn’t you have done the same thing?
