Gary was told about the benefits of owning a cat and that a feline companion could help him deal with high blood pressure, he decided to adopt Tommy, a very bright and loving ginger cat.
What Gary didn’t know is that the cat would end up saving his life in the way he did.
When police received a 911 call followed by silence they decided to call back but could not get in touch so the department sent a police officer to investigate the matter.
What the officer found inside the caller’s house shocked him!
Upon entering the house he saw Tommy the cat by the phone leading him to believe that it was the feline who made the call.
“I know it sounds kind of weird, but the cat literally called for help!” the officer said.
Gary was on the floor, unable to reach out for help. He reported that he did try to train Tommy to call 911 in case of emergency, but was never sure if the kitty had actually learned. Well, I guess his question was answered in the direst situation.
Thanks to Tommy’s call, Gary was found just in time and taken to the hospital where the doctors could save his life.
“He’s my hero now!” Gary said.
